Hmm.. Got a prob..
my car had a service, and my dad done it for me, but needed some
work under the car (chasis only). He jacked it up near the flywheel.
Now after this... i had a very nasty noise.. it was like a metal scraping something/ bullet loading.. its very hard to explain tbh..now.. this ONLY happens changing gear, it doesnt make a soundrevving nor ideling ALTHOUGH it does sound shitty when i start it up and leave it idelling..
Although the sound will go when i drive at least 3 hours or its a really hot day.
I ent got a clue what this is.. my dad said he'd takea look, and meyb the clutch flywheek was scraping.. tho he also sez it may mean a new cluth (££) or a new engine injector (££).
Can anyone help me on this? the car doesnt sound safe, and sounds like im ripping the engine out, everytime i change gear.
Car Details- Vauxhall Corsa 1.5TD 1993 YOM, New Alternator,Cambelt and service...

my advice; you should jack the car up on the chassis not the engine
If he did jack it up on the flywheel, theres a chance both engine and gearbox are shagged.

Or it could be the metal cover in the gearbox casing didnt in, a very easy repair!
