Broster had/has one on his 1.4... worth every penny.

I've sold mine and gone back to a standard airbox and performance panel filter and can honestly say people are fools if they think this setup is any comparison for a decent induction kit.

does the viper make any difference to top end and acceleration?

i no that the difference is hardly noticable with a drilled airbox.
sound a bit different tho

if you want to waste your money for an airfilter on your very low powered car then feel free to do so.

dont get a vipor i have one there ok, still cannot believe ppl think u can feel the power gains from one filter to another its complete bollox, you CANNOT feel the power increase, an thats if u get one!!!

if i was you id ring up demon tweeks and by a bmc carbon ind kit it is eactly the same as the vipor but better, the build is better the look is better, and the price is better at 150 quid.

i have had a bfo cone, k&n, piperx, hks, and vipor and the one difference i noticed about the vipor is my car stopped hesitating when u pull away when car is warm, apart from that all the other filters have felt no different

its almost like saying go faster stripes actally make you faster, ooooh ive fitted a vipor now my corsa does 0-100 in 12 seconds feel the power

get the bmc

piperx noremal ind kits about 60-70 quid, by far the best sounding

I'd still rather have a normal induction kit over the setup I've got at the moment.
I've removed the extra pipework in the airbox and sealed half the box to decrease the volume of air inside. Throttle response is terrible and the car has no go over 80mph.

Before that I ran a BFO cone for a week and that gave the great induction kit sound. Cold air feed helped when the car was moving but it was pretty sluggish around town.

Viper was just great. Quieter than open induction kit, but gave such a sweet sounds still. Throttle response was good and still had a bit of pull above 80mph.
