I bought an 02 sim card on Saturday, registered and put £10 on it.... read that my 300 free allowance of text messages will kick in in about 24hrs... sent a message lastnight and it charged me!!!

Someone said wait til today and should recieve a message to say they are activited... still havent got anything!

Does anyone know what to do?

You don't get a message telling you the free texts are active.
I never do, anyway.
And it takes anywhere between 2 hours and 3 days for them to activate the free messages.

when mine didnt work i rang them and they turned them on there and then! could be an idea if it still dont work

after 24 hours, if it still aint workin get on the phone to them n ask to speak to who ever is on the lines supervisour, they start to panik n thell sort u out straight away

always takes 48 hours when I top up mine, and I always get a message saying that my free text/WAP allowance has started. But as people have already suggested, ring them up.

im not sure which number cos it was my litle sis who had the same problem so my mam sorted it out 4 her, more than likely was a premium rate number like
