how the hell do i take the airbox off the corsa c? ive unscrewed all relevant jubillw clips, and theres something holding it on and i cant find out what! the haynes manual dont help, so u guys must help me please!!

yeah, i just dont know how to take the whole thing off. i decided to drill while it was still on and have made 10 holes in the top. i went for a spin and it didnt sound any different! can u help?

thats the bit that is after the filter. you should drill only the bottom.
to remove it fully remove the pipe going to wards the engine as there is another screw there hidden by it

Yes, only drill the bottom. Drilling the top pretty much defeats the point of the filter.

oh shit, have i knackered my air box?? oh fuck! how much is a new one? but i could only find one jubilee clip and that is the pipe leading to the engine! oh bugger im fcuked arent i?!

 another one bites the dust
undo all the jubilee clips and remove the tubes and pipes. have a look at the bottom and you should see a little rubber bung type thingy which slots onto the car bracket. pull that up till it comes out. then you pull the rest of the airbox away from the plastic clip at the top.
oh, and get yourself a new airbox
