Hi every1

im a 19yr old lad, n im bored sat at home duin nothin. so i have decided i would like to buy and sell at least 1 motor this summer, just to see if i can make any ££ .

i have been checking the trader, and have been visitin auctions to find a cheap motor that i think i can make a tidy profit on, but no luck. I find that at auctions cars go for normal prices if you include the premiums and the only people to buy them are bigtime traders that seem to sell cars at high prices anyway.

could any1 give me some advice about where i can find bargain motors?
(tried all internet sites, loot, adtrader, etc)

ive been lookin hard but i cant seem to find any and im getting frustrated!

help please

local papers, ebay would be a start. Thing is lots of people do this and really know what their doing/looking at - be careful as you could end up buying a pile of shit that your never sell. Personally I'd steer clear as unless you really know what your doing and buy lots of cars your never going to make any decent money

i do know my fair share about cars. not an expert but i know a lot of things. what to chek for n stuff. more than the average 19yr old id say.

found a civic vti, L reg, 72k, FSH, mot+tax, £1k

seen it advertised in loot and adtrader. however, both leeds postcodes are different and when i click to see the map, come up as 2 different places but in close proximity. this i find suspicious. but could make a few hundred on that i rekon if its legit.

start cheap

i bought a corsa for 400 and made 420 quid on it

cost me 20 to sell, 100 to tax, mot, service and a full day to clean as it had been stood a while, so i made about 300 cash all in at the end of it, not bad 75% increase on the 400 quid i spent

yeah im thinkin of gettin that civic for about 800 or near if i can. it'd easy go for 1250 if its a legit motor. but im worried about the suspicion....

and i havent got an early bird token for loot.com

is it true that cars r worth more/less according to which part of UK theyre selling in?

my mates lives up lake district. says cars r really expensiv up there

yeah cars will be more expensive, in Chelsea cars will be dearer, in a poor area cheaper. Same as houses and most other things
