I thought it would be heavier too. but just got mine done today and the steering's lighter. ah well who cares. its no big deal.

just get it checked chris.i took mine in when i dropped it -30mm but it was ok.

ah. tracking. so whats that then? and how much will it cost to get sorted? and can I sort it myself? and is it dangerous not to get it sorted?

no u cant do it urself wivout the tools and it aint exspensive... like £20 or so.. I lowered mine 40mm and tracking was out..

it aint really dangerous but can cause un-even tyre wear and so on kwik-fit will do a FREE check for ya mate

18's and -40mm drop made my steering much lighter... Odd.

kwik-fit they r a bunch of monkeys but they do it cheap.... although had to go back and moan coz they did it wrong, coz (dunno if theis applies to all corsa's) the front tyres have to be 'centralised' with the rear or something like that...probably bullshit coz they fucked it up but its ok now

i think your right about kwik-fit bein monkeys.
i watched a kwik-fit guy sort my mates car once and the fella looked like he didn't know if he needed a shite or a haircut!

just been to kwik-fit.
they say the cars too low for them to get the tracking gear on.
guy said it's a nightmare to check the tracking on a lowered motor.
what am i gonna do now? its only been lowered 40mm.

Don't goto Kwik Fit? Goto a proper garage who will do lowered cars.
I've seen plenty of lowered cars being done at Bush's near me.
Plus, Kwik Fit are shite, they took about 3 attempts to 'sort' the tracking on my Dad's Vectra, and it's still not right.
