revs dropping low and stalling again, i just bought a throttle potentiometer, is there any way of telling between the iacv and tp???

i think a diagnostic check is needed

more money


any1 got any idea????

yes and the lad in the parts shop with a mega kitted corsa looked the same wen i was rantin on about tp and iacv's

water over his head i reckoned

and it was a 1.0 all show no go

£30 for a tp and £60 for an iacv id rather know which one it is

any1 have any serious suggestions

try this then i had a major problem with mine kept on giving the same fault code for bot tp-ICV, ended up being the bloody ECU!
if u know anyone in a garage with a code reader or even someone what can do do paper clip test ask them...
or if u have a freind with the same car swap the parts over and find out that way.....

have u looked where the iacv in a gsi is gotta take inlet manifold off to get to it, and its a cast one

think ill book it in for a diagnostics check then tbh mates got a fault code reader and its only bringin up egr valve which i knew needed doin anyway
