8mm spot weld drill, 5 minute job, see to dots in the picky where the bracket joins the bottom of the well, drill there, lift out

yeah, kind of like a flat tipped drill bit, local hardware place will have em, if not give me a shout, get em at work all the time.... unless u own an angle grinder that is

Yeah either drill it out if you can get a spot weld drill or just angle grind it out. Clean the metal up,red brown, prime then just puff some colour in to hide the mess.

can get u one for 3 quid i think if you're stuck.... u cud probs use a good steel bit if you're very careful

theres no need, just belt it LOL

You must have a hammer....

I also have a sub in there so it deffo works fine

like a normal drill but flat on the tip, it will say spot weld bit, and it shud either be titanium or cobalt... go for whichever is cheapest coz u dont need a sh*t hot drill to work on corsas

did you build the box for it yourself? how do i find out what capacity box my sub needs?

just drill untill the thing comes off? whill it go through the metal underneath?

thats y its easier to smash it, no chance of knocking holes in anything.

I used a standard box, it fitted in perfect with sub facing straight up.

i pushed and twisted it it came out
it left 4 small holes
i got my welder out and welded them up
