evening lads,
currently running some 16" O.Z wheels with the nasty offset of et37, you reakon it's worth me selling up and buying some 17" with et45?
looked at machining them down or something, could be an idea, but it's a big offset gap? maybe a wide-arch kit? i dunno...
any advice welcome!

Alright mate, the offset makes all the difference, even if you were to get et45-49 16's it would improve the ride/rubbing/handling 100%, especially if your lowered.
I was looking into skimming the wheel down, think the safe maximum is around 3-4mm so you would still have et40/41 wheels.
I would sell them and get some nice 16's in a more friendly offset. The ride on 17's can be pretty bad.

cheers for your advice, was thinking about flaring the arches, like cutting away some of the metalwork and smoothing it all in... but my plan didn't get to far, handling is a peice of piss now and i love it, but it feels slidy, guess that's due to the crazy offset?
i like the sound of a nice set of 17"'s now tho, any1 moved from 16's to 17's who could gimme some advice?
