Hey, I'm lookin for some help on my first install - doesn't have to be anything major - just an improvement over the standard.
I was looking at the Pioneer DEH-P80MP and the DEH-P8600MP - (swaying towards the second option because of the colour display) - which one of these would u go for?
Also want components - which size will fit a corsa C? 17cm? The guy I spoke to recommended Pioneers again for these - I'm willing to spend up to £100 for them. Any reasons to stear clear of Pioneer for speakers?
Also plannin on a stealth shelf with 6X9's - again Pioneer - max £100. Not gnna amp anything for now, just run 'em off the HU and c how it sounds (may amp in future). The only reason i'm goin Pioneer mad here is just because the guy I spoke to said for my needs they'd suit me fine.
How duz this lot sound to people? Thx in advance

Head unit: either are cool
Components: Infinity much better and cheaper
Dont bother with 6x9s, spend the money on an amp for the components and some good wiring, then at a later date get another amp and sub for the boot.

for £100 the DLS B6 components will be better than pioneer and infinity by a fair whack.
Get em from car audio direct.

personally id spend most of the budget on amp and comps for the front and then save for sub and amp. If you budget is limited then its best to build the system up bit by bit. Also the quality would be better.
