right fitted c20xe into corsa

right few probs, from cold car runs like a dream, idles fine, then when its warm,the idle rises to 1400rpm, water is rising in expansion tank, then when u rev the car it rises more and when the revs are on the way down the water comes down a bit? but still sits high, what can this be?

when it wont start after bein run
and u take the plugs out, they are sutted up?

also heaters are cold even when car is warm?



anyone got any ideas, thanks

Make sure the water pump is ok mate, also sounds like the Thermostat may be seized regarding the heater, also make sure that you havnt got any air leaks or air in the water system

any tips on how to get teh air lock out,

new thermo, and new water pump mate

Squeeze the pipes running from the radiator to get air locks out

Deffo a air lock dude its gotta be, unless like ya said ya piped it up wrong, or ya got a blockage

a c20xe will over heat if you run it with the cap off you need the cap on let the fan come on then when the fan gose off they use ally takes a big drink just keep an eye on the gauge
