... From the National Trust. The bastards are knocking down the haunted hospital. For thoses of you who have never visited a haunted hospital, this is what ones like... I went there on my own to take these pics last summer during the day. That was scary, but then when I went around it during the night, that was very scary...

We've got about 10 mins away
Had a few visits a couple of months back, but cops caught on to 10-20 cars parked up that way after sun-down and started getting a bit shitty.

It is fucking huge too, it's amazing how such a big building with loadsa out buildings can be just left and not many people even notice its existance. There is a haunted house just down the road from it too, need to find it though first - apparently its got all walled gardens and shit.

there was a "haunted house" that used to be near me. was an old persons home untill the cooker in the kitchen blew up & wrecked the house abit. we heard it was going to be demolished so loads of os got these big poles & used it as a battering ram till it was knocked totally to the floor

There is an old mental hospital around somewhere, my mate went there at 2am or something stoopid.. all of them that went got the shit scared outta them and havn't been back..
dont know where it is.. he lives in Chesham, so somewhere around there

As far as I know its being demolished now. But, all you had to do was drive there, park at the pub just up the road, walk down and hop the wall. Then some helpful people covered the wall in Biro ink, so you needed a towel so you didn't ruin your clothes, but now the wall has been knocked down by pikeys. I think if you go now, you will either see a pile of rubble or you'll get nicked. Was good while it lasted. Once me and some friends got chased out by druggies which wasn't too fun

Was wierd, cos in some of the rooms there were still patient records and decorating books dating back to about 1980. The decorating books were the most interesting find Oh, and the newspaper that was dated back to 1985 too..... Most of the stuff in there has been torched, but imagine how cool it must have been for the first people who broke in....

Theres a big haunted mansion at the top of where we live, beautiful building, cept kids keep getting in and wrecking the place

There's an old abandoned hospital and mansion up the road from me too. We used to break in as kids and break/steel things but it got so dangerous, and used by druggies, that all the doors and windows were bricked up in both buildings.

we got a huge abandoned mental hospital jus round the corner from me. most of its been renovated now into housing and posh flats but theres still a really big main block thats empty, was really wierd last time we went in, magazines from 1970, the old wallpaper falling off the walls, some old beds and shit there too, but there is another bit which no one really dares goes into, and that the lower section underground, where apparently they did "tests" on the mental patients. still all good

They're one just about 10mins from me, not a hospital exactly, used to used for looking after people with menatl problems in the 50s/60s. Its totally derelict now - what a creepy place, it has a long curving drive and high iron gates. Went up for a look one night with a few mates, one refused to get out the car!
