ive heard if these are not used/mounted right it can sound very shite!!
this is the system i hope to have eventually, the 6x9s will be used more for trebble otherwise their will be to much bass from the back and the sub will just swallow all the sound from the rear, wat u think....
FRONT- Alpine type-R 160watt component speakers with V12 AMP--running equal mixture of Bass+Trebble
REAR- Alpine type-R 200watt with V12 AMP--running More Trebble than Bass
BOOT- 15inch type-R sub 1500watt with 900watt V12AMP

basically the idea is that the sub will drown out the 6x9's in the parcel shelf...its better to have a decent set of components in the front and if u have to in the back.

rear sound is just for ambience, use a set of two ways(5.25) in the back and run them off the hu or at a low level off an amp. you need most of the sound comming from the front.

Exactly s said, if you just want them for trebble, why wud you want 6x9's which are designed to give 'some' bass response.
Best bet is a set of rear 5.25" coax's with the gain down, or best of all dont have rear speakers, stuff people that sit in the back LOL

i agree, i've got some amped comps up front and two 12in subs in boot, there's also the standard factory ones in the back but to be fair i can't even tell they are there with the comps and it sounds ace so no need to have all this sound coming from behind you, just comps up front and a sub/s is fine
