Who here plays golf?
I've just recently taken up the sport and finding myself getting progressively better. My score for nine holes was around 75 two weeks ago (yeah crap I know) but yesterday it was 60. Okay so par is 45 so I'm 15 shots over but hey i'm getting there.
Just wondered what kind of clubs to go for. Donnay seem a good bet and I picked myself up £50 worth of clubs for £15 yesterday. A lob wedge and a pitching wedge.

I know it can seem a bit of a boring sport, but it does feel good when you chip and nice shot onto the green.
Nothing like taking the day off and walking round a course with a few bottles of stella in your bag.

ah ok Kolin. Sounds like you could use some lessons.
Robbo, take it up now! It's nice to get out in the open and do something different. Usually i play football and I'm fooked after two hours, golf takes longer and is less tiring (unless you're kolin)
It's not dear either, a set of decent clubs will set you back £100, or you could do what im doing and slowly build up your clubs one by one.

You want some made by a specialist golf company really, if your not wanting a whoel set then yeh id get some good second hand ones coz some clubs are quite expensive. You should go and ask the professional at teh club you play at and he should be able to give you a better idea what to get
