My dad has a photo printer, and you wouldn't notice the difference between proper photos and what it prints off. It only cost £85 two year ago aswell. I would recommend one of these,

I think its a Epson Stylus Photo 830. Use the photo paper and its excellent quality.

thats what i have mate, the epson ink is the bollocks but im using cheap 5 quid cartridges from morrisons and the ink is shite, dont print many photos off

for the price of it, i can get them done online for 9-30p each delivered to door, in no rush either

http://www.winkflash.com/uk/ looks ok
http://www.klick.co.uk/ggl/ also

photo paper is expensive stuff as it is too, must work out about 50p per photo based on 2 6*4 on a single A4 peice

you can go into Boots now and plug your Memory car in and they print them out straight to Photopaper for you,

can also go in with Bluetooth phones and print the pics straight out.

because i am oldfashioned and like to work to an A4 size background so i can see everything in one go and print 2 at a time, goes back to my graphic design days

dont like looking at just 1 pic with no idea of size, even tho the dimentions can be defined
