In my eyes, NTL is a complete pile of shite!

lol at thats from the bloke that thinks BT is good

tbh, ntl has been fine for me....never had any mega problems, apart from a few weeks back when one of the engineers was pissing about in the cab down the road and cut our tv off, but thats about it plus i usually get nice pings of 10ish to jolt game servers

Although patrick, whats wrong having ntl tv (which is cheaper ) and ADSL broadband? or visa versa?

edit: im still checking out at 600k But then, over at cableforum.co.uk , it states that the upgrades start from the 1st, so ill probably get it in the next few days

I've had bad experiences with NTL, they fucked up our TV and our Phoneline and charged double for the priviledge. Also charged for connection fee when it was supposed to be free and the picture quality is gash!

Gonna be changing to Sky digital and BT very soon!

thats pretty shit, but like i said ive never had any problems....maybe i am one of the lucky ones

Only thing i would say is dont go for BT broadband, use a propper ISP like Pipex or something....i know loads of people that have had problems with BT openworld and most of them are leaving after their 12months contract is up Plus i used to work for pipex and everything is propper sound with them and they have their own decent network, and they offer a good all-round package for around 20 quid a month not that im biased or anything
