Okay, just made an MP3 disc up. When I play it on my Alpine 9812RB all I get on the display is the track number and time remaining.

Is there anyway I can get the track name to come up? Even for a brief second while it scrolls across and then disappears? Or stays?

I didn't get a manual with the unit unfortunately and I'm counting on some bright spark on here to help me out

Thanks for the help.

Jus been avin a flick through my manual and i dont think that it can display the title on mp3 mode. it says to press title and change each display to how you want it or hold title for at least 3 seconds and you can then type in your title and it will be saved in memory but i think this can only be done in cd or radio mode.

i don't have the 9812 i've got the 9833 and pressing the title button numerous times changes the display to scrolling text but it might be different on the 9812.

Also try pressing the blue button next to the display screen (search button) and see what happens
