Gettin car back from bodyshop on friday afternoon.
It has had doors blanked off and solenoids installed but they arent wired to the alarm system as yet. Goes in on tuesday, but the car is finished otherwise.
How can i secure my car so i can leave it for 10 minutes with the window a few inches open?
It has a clifford Cat 1 alarm/immob. But can i remove like a fuse or 2 so if someone made it in, they would then have to bypass alarm, thenfigure out immob and then sort the fuses? As if i took the hazrd switch out or something it wouldnt start woul it?
Id obviously leave car empty so nuting old be nicked. But surely this is like leavin the roof down on a convertible? Overnight im goin to have it garaged but this should be ok to leave say in tescos for a while?
Any suggestions to secure it for a short while whilst i leave it?
Thanks

If you have easy access to your distributor cap, then remove the rotor arm inside. Car is essentially immobilised.

pull it to turn on the interior light, etc...
