when u put sky on, is the volume way quieter than normal tv?
i have sky itself on full volume
normal tv = vol around 22-23
when on sky - vol around 35
shit myself when i put normal tv back on

Yeah, thats what I get. Pisses me off considerin digital was meant to give perfect signal no matter what. Annoys me when sky goes up the spout and terrestrial is fine on my other TV

Get a bigger dish. A 60cm or even a Sky Zone 2 dish will work wonders.

go into Services, select sound settings and u can adjust the volume so its the same as the tv

im curious to how better tv pic and sound quality has to do with volume of the sound?
you could have a digital audio recorded at 96KHz, but even though its a decent quality, it could be 10dB in volume, so its going to be quiet

i have a similar problem with my cab box, but there isnt an extra volume adjustment, and if you set it to the max volume, it clips Luckily though, my TV has the options to adjust the sound signal on all AV inputs, so ive sorted it through that
