No they where Desktop PCs.
That's not a bad idea. Went to Computer Plus and they basically told me to fuck off and wouldn't help me. WANKERS!
One of the screens has gone fucked which just needs a new bulb, one needs a new battery but is gonna cost £130, one need a new memory chip and the other one needs a new cd drive and motherboard.

Computer Plus are wholesalers, they don't really diagnose repair unless you leave it with them and pay the price.
They also don't specialise in laptop parts, just complete recon units which unless yours is one of theirs they won't have bits for.
Laptop screens don't have a single bulb so you can't just change that. eBay for the other bits, I got a battery for a few quid and CD drive also very cheap. Other bits I'd consider cutting your losses and replacing the unit without a proper diagnosis.
Exactly what parts do you need?

I just asked some dude at the desk when i poped in for a PSU if he knew where i could get laptop parts from. He was no very nice with me to be frank.
There are 2 bulbs in the laptop screen but i only need to replace the one that has gone. I will have a look for the battery on eBay and also some mem. That will sort 3 of the laptops out but one of them needs a new motherboard, i think that will also sort out the CD drive because it will read DVDs but not CDs. Will look for a damaged one on eBay or something with the m/b and cd drive in.
