Ello
anyone know where I could get a cheap basic laptop?
I'm currently working with a indivdual who is campaigning for the rights of people and often has to perpare cases for county court hearings, (all volunteering) because local solicitors won't touch the cases as their "a mine feild".
He ain't great at spelling but knows his stuff and does this full-time, he's also a single parents bringing up a 12 years kid and has leukemia (*spelling) He currently uses a typewriter to prepare his cases but as I said, his spelling ain't great and this doesn't give him credit in court with a great case but poor spelling!
I wonn buy him a laptop, but I don't have much money to do so, can anyone let me know if their selling a cheap one, or where I can get one from?

try ebay or the like, local paper etc etc. look for places that do refurbed laptops.
If you find anything and your not sure ask on here as you know most people will help you as your female

a pikey (in Gypsy terms) is a cast off, someone who has shamed the romany culture, i.e. rapist, betrayed his family, stole off his own, disrespectful etc etc
their are cast out and then known as a pikey (like our scum)
but before he's thrown out, their will be delt with, it's not uncommon for a traveller who has raped someone to be beaten with spades (too right too 
they deal with their own law and order and in some ways, I agree with them

sorry but the spade-beating made me laugh 
i've never had any gripes with gypsies, but it does annoy me how there treated at times just because of the lifestyle the live.

I have seen them in PC World for £500 today but are 1 gig CPU and 256 DDR RAM. But saying that, why not get a last minute bid in on eBay for one. I seen a top of the range SONY one go for £410. I didn't check if it was a link tho

the you carn't have come into contact with many gypsies! If he wins this case, it would be a massive deal! His dad has MBE for his efforts in campaigning for better traveller rights worldwide!
their will be no money involved, he will have a laptop that will help him to help other people! he's a very good man, and I very much respect him!
To stand up for your rights and help people who ain't fortunate to be able to do it themselves for what ever reason, is IMO more than decent! This man is a legend and "if he was on fire" I try my hardest to save him!

well with all the taxes that he dodges where does all his money go? yes he can buy it with that , why should you be a sucker and buy it him ffs.
and yes i have come into contact with gypsies 3 times, one once picked up ma drill and had it in his hand, tried running off , i did get it back off him as one of builders caught him but i still got the "i will burn your house down", 2nd was when i saw one trying to nick a little kids mini-moto and third is when 3 of em tried to rob ma mate inside a club in town fools
