if i put a 1990 c20xe engine in my corsa that is on a 1994 plate wiv cat how would it get moted cus if it has a cat test it will fail wouldnt it?

When it comes to MOT it goes on the oldest part. If your new engine does not have a cat then you dont need one now.

if you cant prove it they'll test on year of car... ask j100rsa he's a mot tester, or do a search its come up before
