helooo

hey guys im helping my mate fit an induction kit to his car...let me tell you....right bastard.

He has a mk4 fiesta 1.3 efi. There are not many induction kits for this type of model, so he bought a universal one. That fit fine, problem now is that the sensor that plugged into the original airbox has know where to plug into now...so its left dangling.

Is there anything he can do? Is it safe for it not to be plugged in? maybe i could drill a hole in the induction kit housing, put the sensor in there and seal it up with silicon or something?

Anyone care to give there opinions...?

I did post this on the fiesta forums all over the net but they are all a bunch of useless assholes

the air flow meter will be measuring the amount of air going into the engine and will adjust the fuel accordingly, car will run not right without it

The airflow meter is what looks like the filiment from a light bulb.... some wires basically. Normally protected by mesh etc
