help plz guys iam so confused with offsets!, how do i find out the off set of a set of wheels if all the magz and web sites just give the info 205-40-17 i really dont have a clue all i know is the off set for a corsa b is 45

the 40 in the middle is the offset no 100 percent sure but :-)

Ideal Ofset for a B in 49 but most people do have 45.
It should be stamped on the actual wheel.
If you order from a magazine, they will advise you what offset is available at the time of order

well iam not really sure wot i want yet but i wanna go diffrent with a set of chromes but i cant work it out which ones will fit me car, iam new at all this modifying stuff but iam really init it as i have been to the last to maxpower live shows

You should tell THEM what offset you want, not wait for them to sell whatever they've got lying around.
