the clouds in your pictures tell a different story, strong upward currents creating very dense moisture filled Cumulo-stratus with the typical cauliflower heads developing in some shots, i would not be suprised that it rained that day

its all reversed down here BTW. Winter starts about end of May, and continues until September. Very little rain this year though. Another severe drought at the moment. this rain should ease it though. They brought the Bush Fire season forward 2 months because its so dry. Summer heat is from late September till April. Temps will get to an average of about 38degrees here in sydney, and peak at about 42-43 all day every day for months. further into bushland about an hours drive, its not unusual to get 47 degrees in the shade

been here since June 19th, and getting kicked out June 19th 2005 nah my parents been here since christmas and they are staying here for good, getting residency at christmas hopefully, and i get automatic acceptance into the country then. If that happens, can get Citizenship next year, and that means dual nationality. I did the travelling thing after my a-levels with my best mate for 3 months. 1 month in India, 1 month in australia and 1 week schedules at various other places around the world like singapore, hawaii and LA. I came home in LA on september 9th 2001 because i ran out of money, but my mate stayed there and planned to travel to NY on September 11th. Just as he woke up, heard the news about the towers and he said the whole of LA was panic striken. Paid £8000 for a one way ticket back home first cass on Air New Zealand. It was one of the last flights back to the UK before everything was grounded. If you want info on travelling around the world, just ask, i got lots to tell. 1 tip, GO TO INDIA! its my second fave place on earth other than Auz!

Yeah winds blowing east,south-east have brought a lot of hot air from Arabia, not unusual to see 49 degrees, perhaps 54 is a little optimistic

It cost me about £4k in total. Plane ticket cost about £950 to all the destinations listed with BA/Qantas, and i saved £1k and got the rest from relatives!
