I have got AOL Broadband and whenever i sign on to the internet after a few minutes it just signs itself off. Does anyone know what it could be

no they stay green but the internet just keeps cutting off

if ya call aol - they will say uninstall modem drivers and aol and install again - lol

do u have the service pack for xp installed - cause i had to use 2000 as xp kept cutting off before i had the xp service pack

go to www.windowsupdate.com

and see if it asks u to update

i'd look towards your motherboard drivers mate. try updating the USB drivers

i can send u a cd with xp on (professional so no use if ur on home) with the service pack already on it, for a fee of course

could be a virus as there was one last year that kept cutting you off the net.If u got antivirus check to see that u haven't got a virus, other than that go through the routine of uninstalling your modem drivers and reinstall them.

I tried aol for free and it tried to put me on the net all the time I.e type a letter and it would connect IMO aol is rubbish. It also conficted all programs
