Allo there,
Just a quick post to say that your all now famous on the GTIROC.com forum. Were all having a good laugh at the thread.. , apparently it’s on the yahoo forums too..

To answer a couple of things that cropped up in the discussion about the R in case ur interested.
The r doesn't really handle very neutrally at all, it under steers all over the shop. This is for two reasons, its weight balance is 65% on the front, which makes it really nose heavy, and alot of that weight is forward of the front wheels.. this makes changing direction more difficult. It also suffers from pretty dire bump steer when turning in or under heavy cornering. the second can be fixed with a suspension mod.. the first we can't really do much about.
Oh and the brakes are totally shite..completely not up to the job if your gonna rag it about. .. quite a few have upgraded them with 4pots and big discs.
Other than that it’s a very rapid little car, especially when the turbo boost is increased to 1.0 bar or more.
Most of the time we like to play with boxters, m3's and things like that, we give em a good scare and play the underdog, most of them have no idea what the R is, so when we launch off and leave them.. or hoon past like they are standing still they get a shock. Some of the cars on GTIROC are awesomely quick.. running 400bhp + a few even getting near the magic 500bhp mark soon. So it’s kind of the same for you guys you like to take on something that costs much much more money, or is supposed to be more powerful.
Regarding the thread.. there are quite a few dogs about, they have been thrashed and are way down on power, and others running around with silent problems that can also cause big loss of power.
If it was in good tune and he could drive, you would have been eating dust..
We do have some posts that smell of doodoo on here too. but we can usually smell them a mile off. "My R has 500BHP" is always a favourite.. he he.
If this dude wants to rag round town he can drive past me all day and claim a kill, my GTI-R feels most at home on fast flowing B roads, it eats them and most things it finds there. It always puts a proper  on my face.

That lad was talking out a hole in his head although theres a few Corsas on here 2.0Turbo and 2.1XE on TB's that run sub 5'seconds 0-60 timed. Could be more interesting
