Howdies all,
was setting up my mates compressor on his decks and had a little play with some of his new summer tunes 
ps - Theres no real order to the songs because i just pulled them from his record box as i was playing, but i think its a pretty good mix, apart from the first and second songs which kinda mashed up (out of beat a tad), but then again its like my 3rd time on decks (im not a DJ lol)....

lol rookie 
yea was dumping it straight into the pc via two mono jacks into a digi 001 soundcard Then i used protools to record the source.
But it can be done simpler, by buying a phono to mini jack cable, connecting the source output from the mixer (or a seconday output, if the main one is going to an amp/speakers) straight into the LINE IN on your soundcard. its then a simple case of adjust the recording level (via windows volume controls) and using a recording program like cool edit, wavelabs, soundforge etc etc
tbh, i was only pissing about as i was setting up his compressor and even though i might get some decks in the future, i think i will stick to music production

aye, but its a copy of the tune that was going around about a year ago and my mate got someone to wack in on vinyl for him....so its a dodgy mix that has fades both end  But hopefully hes getting a propper copy of it, so there should be other mixes
