Adam, I dont youll hit 185+ to be honest, TB'd cars are around 190-200 and you have the standard inlet..and to hit 8k rpm I think it might throw a rod...

Car:
1993 Corsa SRi 1.4 MPi

Engine:
- Started off life as a 1.4 8v MPi
- Now has '90 C20XE Engine
- Full Powerflow 2.25" Exhaust system with a 3" outrolled tailpipe
- Decatted
- Stainless mesh airfilter

Engine bay styling:
- Black block and silver gearbox. Silver manifold. Cambelt cover and rocker colour coded. Paint stripped and polished up plug cover. Manifold and other bits and bobs sprayed with silver heatproof paint to tidy it all up.

Transmission:
- F18 Gearbox
- 5 speed transmission

Suspension:
- Bilstein Streetline Shocks
- Cossvaux high poundage springs
- Full polybush kit to fit

Brakes:
- Hi-Spec 288mm kit using Astra 16v Caliper with Vauxhall pads and standard drums. Goodridge braided hoses.

Bodywork:
- Body coloured bumpers and clear repeaters.

Interior:
- Standard bar home made aluminium chequer plate floor mats.

Wheels & Tyres:
- 15" 5.5J Astra GLS alloys with 195/50/15v Toyo Proxes T1-S tyres all round.

ICE:
- Sony CD/MP3 head unit
- JBL Components
- Standard rears

Security:
- Yes, lots.

Performance:
- Unknown as yet, hoping for 160 at a PUSH and with a bit of luck under 15s quarter mile, will know soon!

not with arp rod bolts...

im think 185 when everythings sorted- Unichip, exhaust ports matched to head, BTB manifold, blue flame system, K&N 57i air filter, QED cams (Q42H), Piper vernier pulleys, skimmed, ported and polished cylinder head.

Its just shy of 170 at the moment with filter, cams, verniers and a crap exhaust. I would of thought 15bhp from headwork, decent manifold and exhaust was very possible
