I have a R reg Corsa 1.6 sport, recently had a CD player fitted, when i picked up the car noticed that the time date temp display doesnt work anymore, have they disconnected it or could it be a fuse, also when it was working it wouldnt keep the time once you switched the engine off. anyone help plz, thanks.

does the screen stay blank or does it light but with no words or numbers.

its black, no lights on or owt, even when the cd is switched off it doesnt work

what are you like with a soldering iron? when mine died, it was the pins on the pcb (printed circuit board) - they had come away from the board. if you are half competent with an iron, take it apart and solder em back on, if not get a cheap one from a scappy (my local wanted £25!), or see if a tv repair place will do a quick 2 min job for ya, whichever is most economical. hope this helps!

i recently had the same problem i found some old threads in mod advice all ihad to do was snip 1 wire at the back of the clock and hey presto il try and find it 4 u let u know
