I'm going to send this email to my bosses do you think its ok...
I am writing this E-mail because when I started I'm May '03 I was told I would have a pay review in a year, the year and three months have past and this review still hasn't been done. I can understand the head office is in Plymouth and people have been on holiday etc, but I can't do anything about this.
I would like to know where I stand because I can't live forever on the money I'm currently on, also I was supposed to be going to college and this has not even come to anything.
I really enjoy working here and with everyone in the company but I feel if these things don't progress I my have to look else for work.

I am writing this E-mail because when I commenced work in May '03 I was informed that I would have a pay review in a year. As it has been over a year I would be grateful if you could advise me when this review will take place.
I understand that this is a busy time of the year with staff holidays etc but I would appreciate any input on my work if at all possible. (may not need this paragraph?)
I'd like to add that I really enjoy working here with everyone and am looking forward to continuing (or furthering?) my career within the Company.
Maybe something more like this??
You don't really want to come across as moaning too much. Maybe you could put in something about having mentioned it to him a couple of months ago?

I am writing this E-mail to you because when I started I'm May 2003 I was
told I would receive a pay review in twelve months time, this period and a
subsequent three months have past and this review still hasn't been done. I
can understand that the head office is in Plymouth and people have been on
holiday etc, so finding time is difficult.
I would like to know when this review is going to be done because I have been
asking for a couple of months now but no date has ever been even, also I was
supposed to be going to college this year and the enrolment deadline is
nearly closed.
I really enjoy working with everyone in the company and my Accountancy
skills have improved immensely, but I feel if these things don't progress I
may have to look elsewhere for employment.
