Seen these for sale recently, the ones u mix with ur petrol and there meant to clean the fuel injection system. Do they really do what they say " improve fuel efficency, acceleration and engine responsiveness"? Can they do any damage to the engine? I was thinking of using some on an engine with 70k.
Cheers for any info

They can, the corbon deposits in your engine may be blocking up small holes and leaks, by cleaning it all out you will be freeing up all the carbon deposits and un-blocking all the holes, un-running in your engine... Your better off just looking after the engine as you would - regular services and oil changes. Making an engine last long isn't available in bottles i'm affraid

Its worthless generally.
AS 1800 said it can cause problems (although rarely), but generally they can cause rattles and make your car smoke.
They do what it says on the bottle, they just dont do it well and with side effects.
