If a fuel relay was gone (2 litre corsa) would the spark plugs still spark even though the car obviously won't start ?

Arghhhhhhhhhhh

Why the hell won't my car spark and start then !

Also have a faulty fuel relay cos when i have mine on the fuel pump stays on all the time and drains the battery !

non spark caused by engine immob, ECU, dizzy and fucked plugs/leads.

and as for the fuel relay, just fit a 20a switch and use it as another security feature

Dizzy is ok as i have a spare and a brand new one (checked both) plugs and leads are all about 3 months old only

have u started using a spare set of keys? or does the engine management light flash when ur trying to start it?

Nope nothing, its just like normal

I think the relay is faulty which is why it wont start BUT it should still spark but nothing there

if its a recent conversion then you should have changed the chip in the key. if you dont have the key/chip from the car that provided the engine, its a short trip to vaux me thinks

What dya mean the chip in the key ? had the conversion now for hmmmm nearly a yr

i can get an ecu tonight from my mate for £25, is it worth me getting a new one or could i still be miles away from what it is ?
