The one i test drove was £11495, insurance aint as bad as i thought it wud be. done a quick quote on liverpool victoria and they reckon between £1500 & £1800. I know of someone who is 19 aswell and is payin £1400 fully comp in his own name

Mate i didnt know you lived in Chatham. I was recently deciding either a GSI turbo or a CTR. I opted for the CTR in the end. Im 22 with 0ncb and pay £1550 with tints declared. I remember that there was one going for around 12k with the optional extras of xenons and bucket seats. Also, it was in the arden blue colour.

not bad cars, although not v quick for what they are, nothing chucking a bit of cash at the engine won't cure!!
I have friends who have the turbo coupe and the turbo hatch, my corsa wipes the floor with both of them up to around 120mph, out handles them too

Before i bought my CTR i was in a dilema over which car to buy CTR, Cupra or GSi. My brother had a astra sxi and i wasnt too impressed with the car but the GSI is a different class. Although it was the cheaper or the 3 i opted for a 2nd hand CTR in silver Havent looked back since. The GSI and CTR are very similar in terms of performance but apparently the CTR handles much better than the GSI

I have a low risk post code but when i done an insurance quote for the GSI at 21 with 0ncb i was still quoted £1500 for it fully comp. I dont understand how some people can get it lower than me purely because i live in a decent post code.
