I was looking in here the other day and some one said that the corsa C didnt have to have the cambelt changed because it's a spacific type,

Can some clear this up fro me. Ps its a C Sxi

chains dont need to be played with they are very complex and the likely hood if tension on the chain is lost then youll never get the timing right again.

like if you ever have to take the head off then you still have to keep tension on the chain.

corsa c 1.2sxi is it? its a chain driven engine which dont need to changed, make sure you change the oil on a regular basis (10w40 semi synthetic)

1.0 and 1.2 are chain (maybe the 1.4 twinport) and the old 1.4 and 1.8 are belt driven

Yes they do need changing and its @ 100,00miles

just the 1.0 and 1.2, they are suzuki engines. 1.4 isnt

the difference being you have to change the cambelt regular and costs an arm and a leg but with a camchain you can run them lots longer.and yes your is a camchain
