i was just looking through ebay for a corsa gsi and i found 1 locally and for "£2k i thought might aswel i contacted the owner and asked questions and said it was in mint condition
so i was well xcited bout this and got the cash and started going but i thought i better do a HPI check and guess what ??
"IT WAS A FUCKIN WRITE OFF"!!!!"!

I had a ford ka. thought i got it for a good price, came to sell it. The garage had run a HPI check and found out that the lying old bitch that sold it to me had written it off, then rebuilt it. I was gutted. Ended up getting £500 for it instead of £1600.

imho u must be absoloutley fukin mad to pay more than a grand for a car and not pay 35 quid for a HPI

everyone says written off cars are bad but u try and find a car without sum sort of history, trust me there are so many cars on the roads with histories that you wouldnt believe it was possible! remember not all damaged cars get recorded and neither do all accidents get declared. A HPI check only goes sum way to confirming the truth behind a car and anyway if the damage has been proffessionally repaired why be scared?
