As above, had just one go at it, my heart was racin like on a ride at alton towers lol, was really good though real buzz, was quite pleased with time seein as my only mods are blitz dsbc and hks mushroom filter. My mate in his heavily modded cossie only got 5.2 so was well pleased with mine
saw flamin corsa for first time in the flesh, looked smart, loads of people round it
was definately best show of the yr (been to donny, ford fair and trax)
misses actually enjoyed it too!! got a sun tan thrown in for good measures also so all is good

The timing gear at trax has always been a little dubious...

How could there be anything wrong with the timing it is a radar setup similar to what the pigs use? Perhaps the zetec s for slow, was tuned???

It might well be the same equipment the police use, but its not callibrated right if thats the case!
The 0-60 times at trax are notoriously innaccurate!!
Didnt Gaimo get a low 6 0-60 with his 20XE, wheels, and a false floor in.... !
he even addmitted its probably more likely to be low 7's

The timing gear is utter wank. You might as well put someone with a stopwatch there counting the time.

The zetec-s that got 7.5 was running a 1.7 puma engine with NOS. My friend who has a zetec-S with just an exhaust was getting 9.5.

to be honest the times seemed pretty accurate to me, and this is what is supected with the zetec!
I think my car would be capable of low 5s if i had a few more goes at it, but was happy enough with that for now.
I am sure thay wouldnt use equipment that wasnt calibrated properly, not when you are paying 7 quid ago.

I thought it was pretty OK this time round.
A Megane 225 sport ran and got a 6.7s, and the book figure is 6.5s, which suggests its pretty close (altho this car had a poor driver! lol)
I saw a sierra cossie run a 3.75 and it looked totally std from the outside! lol. nice.
