I bought this car as a restoration project (time and money spent so far), but due to lack of time and commitments to studying, I have to sell her. The spec is:
J-reg Vauxhall Cavalier GSi 2000 16V (73L - Satin Red)
ENGINE
1991 DOHC Red-top 2.0 16V, SBD MT196 Throttle Bodies Injection Kit (spec to follow), 111k miles covered.
F20 gearbox
Full Stainless Steel Exhaust system (twin- square/rectangular pipe exit) consisting of Sebring backbox, custom made CAT replacement pipe and centre section by SBD.
SBD 4/2/1 uprated exhaust manifold.
SBD MT196 kit used with original air box assembly & trunking (receipted)
SBD spark plug cover
SUSPENSION
Front and rear Koni Adjustables Suspension set-up (Regal, Southampton)
Lowered by approx. 50mm + on Koni uprated springs, no camber problems
Standard brakes all round (work very well)
WHEELS AND TYRES
BK Racing 17" Multispokes on 205/40/17 Yokohama tyres, recently changed. lots of tread. (1 wheel scuffed quite bad, the other 3 a 'lightly' kerbed)
INTERIOR/BODYKIT AND I.C.E
standard upholstery interior in good condition. Driver's side bolster has NO wear. very few marks on seats.
Complete GSI bodykit inclsuing end caps and jacking covers. Slight indentation on towing eye cover (front bumper).
Lockwood Dials. Clear Blue oval side repeaters
Standard Cavalir GSi 3-spoke steering wheel
red-lined front mats, grey mats at rear
Kenwood Radio/Cassette headunit
Electric windows/sun-roof/mirror all in working order.
LaserLine 904 Alarm & Immobiliser
There's probably other bits, i can't remember.
All MOT's, loads of history and documents to show work done. lots spent. Over 11 months MOT, over 5 months TAX i think.
This cavalier was purchased as a restoration project approximately 1 month ago. Previous to this, it has been in a garage lock-up where it was stored for 3 years.
I have many receipts and documents in a folder up until the car went in storage. The previous owner said to me that the ECU had been replaced 1 year ago due to "jump-starting" the battery one day and frying the MBE ECU (part of SBD kit). This was then replaced with an "ALPHA PLUS ECU" and fully set-up & mapped by Northampton Motorsport (call 01604 766624 to confirm).
The engine runs well when warm. No tappet problems on start up and the head is fine. Recent engine flush, oil change, oil filter and panel filter have been replaced. Two brand new Yokohama 17 inch tyres replaced. Performance is good, but as it's only been properly running for the last month, i recommend the engine requires a tune up.
As a 13 year old car, it has some faults which require attention (tlc):
* One rear arch will need doing soon and the other is startin to come through
* Trip computer not working properly. Read up for
fault code and the black surround is missing
* Few minor scratches and dents around the car (due to age)

£2000 open to offers. Would make a great donor car for engine into Nova/Corsa/Astra/Cavalier/Calibra. But potentially a great example.
Thanks for looking

Hello there
Insurance for me isn't too bad. £600 TPFT, but that's with 4 years no claims.
Thanks Lee! A storming car for little money!
