sorry to go on about this ppl, but ringing up insurance compaines tonight, and i hope i get insured on a red-top conversion in my corsa! im going to try these companys:

1. adrian flux
2. liverpool victoria
3. tesco
4. elephant

if u own a valver in a corsa, can u put down:

age, NCB, price on TPFT/FC etc, and how were the ppl when u told them about the conversion?

I was with Greenlight til last week. Adrain flux saved me nearly 300 quid over the quote from greenlight

adrian flux also have a smaller company involved called highway, they do all the 1 week cover for if your buying a car and need to insure it for a short time to get it home

Highway are my underwriters too - I'm with Performance Direct (only £200 excess, free windscreen cover).

just rang adrian flux.... said £2k with mods, and with bodykit ad alloys!! thats on a 1.4 sport!! paying £500 atm with Zurich.

Yes, with Adrian Flux you need to be over 25 to get a decent quote.

But saying that, my mate got insured at 20 on a Calibra Turbo for only 1k.

I'm 21, No NO CLAIMS BONUS to my name, 5 points from an SP30, i've been driving but under my old dear! Just bout a C20XE Corsa, ex GSi engine, got a quote through Adrian Flux for 1200 TPFT 250 excess, steep i know but its what i want!

I tried HIC but they wont touch me on that car until i have a Years No Claims............haven't tried any others as yet.

Then as i told you i hadnt been in the uk for the last 6 months so they wouldnt insure me!
Also being a member of corsasport of vxlscc i told them as well!

it all depends on the exact case! My dropped lots when i said i was member of a club, limited to 5000 miles was a show and weekend car and would always be parked in the garage at night!
