How is it done professionally? I have some stains on my seats, and none of this autoglym upholstery cleaner works.

Is it steam cleaned or something?

They steam clean the interior. Not recomended to be done in the winter, they did it to my car when I bought it in december - it smelled bad because the seats couldn't dry properly so I had to buy a new ste of seats, well thats my excuse anyway
