You need to ask your anti virus software to kindly remove the program for you. If it can't do that then stop using Norton anti virus - otherwise go onto the software's website and find out how to manually delte or patch the program over.

How are you getting disconnected? Is it just the Internet connection or the whole PC?

The Norton AV CD is also an emergency boot disk, so you can boot up with it before any viruses load up and clean your PC.

you sure its a trojan then? If none of the anti-viruses have found it...have you tried going to run and typing in msconfig and clicking startup tab, and you should be able to start your pc without any of the boxes ticked (none of your programs will boot at startup tho) see if that sorts it?? worth a go tbh

Give it a carrot and it should gallop off into the sunset

Seriously though, run norton (which version?) and get the latest virus definition updates, and if you have a trojan on there, it wont be once the scan has completed. If its still playing up, you dont have any kind of backdoor virus. Could be a corrupted registry, could be anything to be honest, you are too vague.
