i took my headunit out yesterday day time and it was bit of a mission to get it back in!! but when i drove last night i noticed that the blowers was not giving out any heat???
any ideas what it could be?
as im going to check it now, in the search it says the heater cable could be loose and is just a simple case of putting it back in...were exactly is this cable and what should i do with it?

if it was water I'd panic
take the HU out again & check the lil cable-pulleys on the rear of the dash... the one which selects the hot/cold supply could of come unclipped.
if thats the case, easiest way to sort is to remove the whole centre section

i fixed the problem
was just a loose clip on the cable at the bottom of the passenger footwell on the right hand side, didnt need to take the whole heater panel off or even take out the headunit!
