just removed my de-cat as my mot is on sat.....problem is i couldnt get my cat back on...so rang the local garage, no probs they say bring it down.... didnt think much of it, removed all the exhaust.....started up...............bloodyhellll whats that i hear a dragster....nope just my car lol....so off i go at a very steady pace as car is slow and backfiring and popping etc.....scare some old lady as i drive down get some dude laffing at me in his merc so i revved and he musta thought i was a v8 corsa.....then as i go onto the short stretch of dually before i get to the garage a copper comes up behind so i slow down making the car quiet then he over takes car back fires.......he pulls me over.........
"why no exhauts sonny?"
"sorry mate cant hear you" i snigger
explain that it fell off over a speed bump etc......he beliveed it and let me on my way

garage put my cat back on for me now the car is very quiet, forgot what the decat did noise wise and also dosent pick up so well! least its ready for mot....i hope

my mate had a hole in his downpipe and it sounded like a v8

so i can image wat the sound would have been like if the WHOLE of the exhaust was off
