How do u go about selling domain names quickly? Ive got evilla.co.uk which i think is a really good domain, 1 word, 6 letters, easily remembered, .co.uk (TLD), applies to much of travel / tourism market, and yet its advertised on loads of websites and had no interest whatsoever, yet domains like esingle.co.uk sell for £25,000.
Any ideas?

fuck about make up ytour mind you were going to start a buisness on it the other day,
domains dont sell that much , yes over periods , like ill pay 5K a year for 5 years sort of thing its like football transfrers.
you will be lucky to get £100 for that domain.

lol, firstly, i initially advertised evilla.co.uk for sale months ago and got no interest, thats why im NOW setting a site up on it, but for months the domain has been advertised as for sale, i saw esingle.co.uk was sold for 25k and i wondered why mine had no interest, im still setting up site on it and as for harping on about web design millionaire, hmm u got issues kidda. Yes im a web designer, never said anything regarding millions or millionaires. Get a life mate. Oh, and im not selling it for £5, so again ure wrong.

i just find it hard to understand why a web designer has to come on to a car forum that has a average age of 17-19 asking about something that you are meant to know more about seeing as its your line of work
i find it obvious why you've had no interest in it. evilla shouts out evil rather than property.
e-villa would have been a better choice.
but hey what do i know???

Dating is a completely different business model as you can charge per member basis like we do here.
Listing property generally has to be centrally funded or an affiliate/multi-partnership type of arrangement. Less profitable tbh.

I owned www.blade3.co.uk at one time hoping they'd make a new film, which they might, but realised it was pointless.
As i said before evilla suggests Evil LA ... search for drug dealers in LA, they might want it ?

American-based hosting is probably better/easier to get for that type of web site than a UK one I expect?

Definately, we couldn't find any in the UK willing to host it for sensible money

I am thinking of starting up a porn mail order web site and using some local "Adult Shops" as suppliers or something... I reckon it could be a good money maker, haven't really had the time to look into it properly though.
