i've just bought my 1st set of wheels, an the offset on them is 38
will i have any trouble with these on a corsa?? (a m8 told me not to get any offset in the 30's but the fella told me he's had 3 sets on his corsa at the same offset an had no troubles!!??)

Your impartial mate gave you good advice.
The seller lied.
You'll be lucky not to have problems, and lowering it will be difficult.

I had alloys with ET38...
they were 15's & had to smash the arches out to stop scrubbing...
sell them & get some with offset of ET45-49
