most ppl say u dont itl jus slide out
but i took half of mine off each side to pull it out enuf to let headlight come out  (pre 97 front)

always found it easier to remove the bumper...
when i tried to do it without removing the bumper first, ended up snapping one of the lil securing mounts off the headlamp

easy as pie iv had mine on and off several times. no need to remove the bumperr

i changed mine without removing the front but only because i can't.
if you can take it off then i personally would.

I've changed headlights many times and never removed the bumper. O/S is a tight fit but it's possible. Just look out for the little securing clips, they bust pretty easy.

It takes under a minute to remove a front bumper, so why not make life easier?

Why do something unneccesary? I didnt do it and it made the job no harder IMO.

It takes less than 8 seconds per headlight, so why bother touching the bumper at all?

ive had my bumper painted in thats why, if id have thought before would have done the lights first,
oh yeah and wouldnt have had the bumper painted in either
but i surpose i may learn from my mistakes one day!!
