My mate runs an F20, since Feb hes on his 3rd or 4th box!
Whilst F20's are cheap, its always time consuming whipping a box out and putting it back in! Long run IMO, I'd go 6 speed soon as possible, saving you pennies!

You have to get a different fitting kit to fit F28 don't you iirc?

Fitting kit for F28 compaired with normal XE fitting kit is extra £250 I think! I need set of decent hubs and shalfs. Whats all the Mk2 cav CVs all about?

But worth it. You get what you pay for dude and I'd rather buy and fit one decent box rather than 5 that aren't up to the job.

Thats if you wan't to bodge the conversion using Corsa drive shafts... If you look at the Corsa shafts and compare them to Cav or Cally shafts then the Corsa one look like pencils, hell, the look like pencils anyway. Get the shafts and hubs so you can use the proper CV's...

plus im gonna put a diff in while its out, to save doing it in the future and having to take it out again, as im led to believe by 'Our Leader' that the F28 has to be split in half to fit the diff. apparently!
And thats an extra £425.
