It's all about Happiness, was my conclusion. As he said ^^^^ There, he was shwon what would happen if he cheated death, like he did. Everyone would be unhappy, and his girlfriend would be killed as well as some other people.
So he chose to die, laughing in his bed, and everyone was happy (except maybe his family, but they were pissed off at him being a freak anyway)
