Apparantly if you are stopped they can check on their computer (in the car) what you insurance details are.

This true? Knew they didnt like 2 years ago, but it was obviously coming.


Can they list all the modifications you've declared as well? Be interesting to see how many cars are left on the road after the idiots that dont tell their insurance.

yup its true i got pulled about 4 mths ago and they did an insurance check and it told em the mods id declared etc etc

i declare all of mine anyway so im ok

Yup it's something they can do now, I have no idea how but they do! Kerrys brother was in an accident recently and the police called in and checking his insurance details

I'm actually more relieved knowing that, sick and tired of paying extra on insurance when I know fine alot of folk dont bother.

I'm kinda in agreement with goldfish/vibrio here, i'm sure all they can check are things like registered keeper and if it has insurance or not ?
