right no sound is installed on computer something pci wont install or find driver, dont have cds for it so can anyone tell me how i can find the name of it, if that means i have to look inside computer.

Best way is to look inside the computer like u said, get the make and model number and do a google search

yup. if you open up the computer and look at the cards in the PCI slots, if you find the one that has the speaker jack in it, thats the one

or it could be on the mother board which in that case means you might as wel throw it away
only joking, just search for the motherboard audio driver
